I have long legs and my feet sometimes go underneath the break pedal. Is there away I can extend it so this does not happen. Thanks

This comes up every 3 months or so.
Use the search function for brake pedal or donkey pedal and see what you get. |

I had the same problem with my foward controls. Me and my dad extended. The stock ones by at least 2 to 3 inches. He just cut off the brake housing part made a template of the old plate then made a longer plate drilled all the necessary holes mocked them up and rewelded the brake housing plate and bam done. If you have an email address I will send you pics of my foward controls on my shovel. I'm 6 ft tall they fit me perfect. Everyone else that's tries to ride it can't use the shifter or the brake pedal rite.

Hey Cdoss, I put the 87-99 Softtail controls on my 84 FLH with the extended brake pedal. Only mod I had to do was bend the shift rod to fit and grind a small amount of the bracket for exhaust clearance. I'm 6'4" and it fits really well. You may can replace your pedal with an extended one that will move it forward on the floorboard. Just be sure you find one with the right size hole for the pivot arm.
