Man, this is tempting as hell.
If you get a little time to put it together, I might jump in with you guys. I'll die a slow death for doing it, but.....I'm already old.
Keeping an eye on the thread though.

I have heard nothing as well. I was excited about a possible group buy getting going, but I'm just gonna pull the trigger on one if something doesn't come together. More than one forum member has gone above and beyond the call to set me up with the parts I need to complete this front end and I'm not gonna wait forever to get the Springer. Still, I've been patient this long.........

The crew on this forum, at least most of them, are definitely good for that. Good place with great resources. Now if we could all just find that money tree...

I ordered mine off fleabay for $389 and it came with the axle and all that shit. I had to get a little strong with the seller as he didn't return my messages for an eta until I told him to give me a refund so I could order it from someone who could deliver, but it showed up 3 days later and all is well.

Hey guys bad news looks like they like them more than I thought. I called today and they told me what my dealer cost is and it's more than the ebay number.

The last two we bought were $299 and hey have jumped more than I thought they should have. It suxs I had hoped to help ya'll out.

I did see the ebay ad for $380 free shipping. I'm gonna call one more time just for grins tomorrow and see if I get a different answer.

I'll update again tomorrow after one more try. Even tried one of my vendors and they didn't even have any on stock.

Tim

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I bought the $380 setup on fleabay. Had to do it. You are correct, they have gone up. When bought my last one last spring it was the same price but INCLUDED the axle and fender mounting tabs. Now they pull those out of the box, sell you the forks for the same price then stick it up your ass and sell you the axle and tabs seperate. I needed the forks, so I took the hit. But its a done deal now. Thanks to everyone for all the help.

Neil

Tim - thanks for trying for us. Never hurts. Doc, sounds like it may not be worth your time or effort. For me at least, I may keep looking for a used Paughco cause I have some time to kill in my build. Motor's not ready and paint won't be done for a few weeks.

Thanks all...

Thanks for everyone that tried to help. I sent PMs to the 2 that wanted to try a group buy. If you did not get them blame the site not me. Just checked and they showed up in my sent file.

Tim thanks for trying, to bad things did not work out. Don't waste any more time on this, we can all just hit ebay.
